Kittens In Need
I found/have a kitten in San Diego County and would like to bring them to Orphan Kitten Club.
Thank you for helping the kitten! Orphan Kitten Club focuses on intaking kittens from local shelter or rescue partners. OKC does not take in surrendered or found cats or kittens from the public. If you are unable to care for the kitten you have found, please contact the shelter nearest to where the kitten was found. San Diego’s local shelters are Chula Vista Animal Care Facility, San Diego Humane Society, and San Diego Department of Animal Services. Click here to learn which shelter to contact.

I work with a Mightycat partner organization and would like to discuss a kitten with OKC.
Thank you for your partnership! Please contact your OKC representative directly for any questions.
TNR/Community Cats
I found a community cat colony in San Diego County and want to help them.
Thank you for wanting to help the cats in your neighborhood! The best and fastest way to help is to rent a trap from a local shelter or rescue organization, and to trap them yourself. Find information on how to trap a community cat from Kitten Lady or Best Friends Animal Society. You will also need a spay/neuter appointment from a local clinic. Reach out to Feral Cat Coalition, San Diego Humane Society, or Chula Vista Animal Care Facility for information on appointments.
If you are unable to trap the cat yourself, you can try reaching out to East County Animal Rescue, San Diego Street Cat Society, or Community Cat Foundation for help.

I found a sick/injured community cat.
If the cat is located inside the San Diego Humane Society’s jurisdiction, the cat can be taken there for medical assessment. If the cat is located elsewhere, please contact your local animal shelter. Alternatively, the cat can be taken to a local veterinarian for treatment.
