The Itty Bitty Kitty Committee gave every new litter of kittens a fresh start. Between litters, foster homes were restocked with brand-new litter boxes, scoops, mats, toys, food, litter, and disinfectant, which took the guesswork out of whether supplies had been properly sanitized. Reinfection with ringworm, coccidia, and upper respiratory infections dropped significantly. In all, 282 kittens benefited.
