A $5,000 grant supported a Strong Start Program, providing training and starter supply kits, from formula and heating pads to bottles and bedding, for new and experienced foster homes caring for orphaned neonatal kittens in the Louisville, KY area.
The funding helped grow a network of trained fosters equipped to care for the tiniest and most vulnerable kittens, supporting a rescue on track to double the number of kittens saved year over year.
