What’s the best thing you can do to support kitten fosters? Give them the proper training and equipment! Thanks to this grant, Love Your Feral Felines created a “Kitten SOS (Saving Orphaned Souls) Kit” for their volunteers and what a difference it has made.
LYFF was able to purchase reusable equipment such as nebulizers, incubators, and oxygen concentrators, while also creating single-use kits containing tube-feeding supplies, miracle nipples, syringes, and formula. Now with the right tools on hand, they made a call to their existing network of foster-volunteers and recruited new fosters. Two training sessions were also led by LYFF’s partner veterinarian and their in-house neonate expert so that fosters knew how to use all of these lifesaving tools!
