In order for a kitten to graduate from foster care to a forever home, Feline Advocates of Leon County make sure each kitten is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
One of the kittens impacted by this grant was Flower. She and her siblings were orphaned after their mother passed away from birthing complications. The kittens were bottle fed by staff before being paired with another nursing cat. When it was time to graduate, this grant made Flower’s spay surgery possible. Flower is now a happy-go-lucky cat in her new home!
