This project brought a dedicated foster coordinator on board, and the foster program took off. They trained new fosters, matched families with kittens, and kept everyone connected through a foster group, weekly check-ins, and handy resources like poop charts. They even taught photography classes so foster kittens would shine in their adoption photos. They helped select kittens to pull from the local shelter and kept a team of experienced fosters ready for emergencies. The program set out to foster 225 kittens and far surpassed that, placing 410 kittens under 12 weeks old in foster care.
