When Tuxie arrived at Kitten Rescue Life, he was barely clinging to life. After surviving a severe hoarding situation, he was in critical condition and needed immediate, intensive care. Thanks to the NICU setup made possible by this grant, and the dedication of his care team, Tuxie slowly gained strength until he made a full recovery.
Through Project NICU, the rescue received three oxygen tents and concentrators, placed in the most specialized foster homes to support the sickest and most fragile kittens. This lifesaving equipment will continue to save countless kittens for years to come.
