Novel Nutrition for Neonates

Did you know a consistent diet is crucial for kitten care? If kittens eat multiple kinds of food, it can cause digestive upset, vomiting, and diarrhea, which can be difficult for their little bodies to handle. Before receiving this grant, our partners relied on donations for food for kittens under 8 weeks old. The variety of foods caused kittens to have digestive issues. With this grant they were able to purchase high-quality kitten food. One kitten who benefited from the high-quality food was Yams. With the nutrition she needed, Yams quickly put on weight and within a few weeks, her foster family fell in love with her and ended up adopting her!
