An $8,000 grant funded kitten kits, two mobile room heaters, and kennel portal installation for vulnerable kittens, especially those under four weeks old. The kits, distributed to foster caregivers along with a care manual for queens and kittens, made the intake process noticeably smoother, giving fosters everything they needed to get kittens settled quickly. With this support, the program grew its foster network by more than 30 families and set a goal of increasing its capacity for kittens 0-8 weeks old by 25% in the first year.
