Thanks to this grant, Newborn Kitten Rescue welcomed Nicole, their first-ever Medical Coordinator.
Nicole provides fosters with fast, reliable medical guidance, ensuring that vulnerable kittens receive timely care. She also manages follow-up appointments and medical scheduling, streamlining communication and freeing up the rest of the medical team to focus on what they do best: treating and saving more kittens.
Nicole shared, “Being a medical coordinator has been such a rewarding and deeply educational opportunity. Being the spokesperson between the fosters, veterinarians, and technicians for these fragile, newborn kittens has taught me the importance of vigilance, precision, and compassion in their medical care.”
