Kitten Nursery Staff

A $10,000 grant funded a new Placement Assistant role, filled by Kayleigh, to support the shelter’s expanding foster team. Her work focused on finding placement for the youngest kittens and coordinating spay/neuter surgeries once they reached a healthy weight for surgery. With this position in place, orphaned kittens arriving at the shelter were connected with foster families more efficiently, supporting the shelter’s goal of achieving zero euthanasia for healthy kittens in this age group!
