When tiny kittens arrived after hours with no queen and no foster, the Kitten Night Rescue Program gave them somewhere to go. Trained standby fosters answered the call day or night, ready to provide tube feeding, subcutaneous fluids, and medication. The grant also supplied incubators, nebulizers, heating discs, and feeding supplies.
A series of foster workshops more than doubled the foster network, equipping new volunteers with the skills and confidence to care for bottle babies. In all, 460 kittens were impacted: 215 under four weeks old and 245 between four and eight weeks old.
