Kitten Foster Program Improvements

For foster parents, few moments are more stressful than waking up in the middle of the night to find a kitten in distress. To ensure no foster feels alone during these critical moments, Michigan Humane launched an innovative tele-health service designed specifically to support foster caregivers when they need help most. We were proud to fund this life-saving initiative. Since launching, more than 150 foster parents have used the tele-health service for real-time guidance, receiving immediate access to a veterinarian for expert advice. The service even connects directly with the foster coordinator, ensuring seamless communication and follow-up care. Creative programs like this not only save lives, they transform the entire foster experience!
