Adoption day is a celebration and this grant helped adopters start strong.
Every adopted kitten went home with a welcome kit of a blanket, interactive toys, treats, and kitten food, so families had what they needed to keep curious kittens happy and busy. The kits also made adopters feel they were getting a great experience, and many came back to adopt again or sent friends.
In all, 194 kittens went home with a kit and the program worked so well that it became a permanent part of the adoption process.
