Four incubators, playpens, and wet and dry food expanded this organization’s capacity to take in vulnerable kittens from local shelters. With this added capacity, the program cared for more ill and underage kittens at once, providing the intensive medical support and specialized nutrition needed to help them survive and reach a healthy, adoption-ready future. The grant impacted 60 kittens and provided 1,500 meals, with 19 foster families supporting their care. Because incubators remained in use for years to come, this funding helped even more kittens in the years ahead.
