The tiniest neonates can arrive cold, weak, and only a day or two old. This project gave a rescue four incubators with oxygen and nebulizers, and all four were put to work right away.
The rescue was able to take in more neonates from area shelters, including medically critical orphans. Each one was monitored closely for any sign of illness. Saving the smallest kittens takes extra attention, and the incubators made that care possible.
In one kitten season, 198 kittens used the incubators. And built to last for years, the equipment will save many more lives to come.
