Bottle babies need round-the-clock care, and there are never enough hands. The Bottle Baby Brigade set out to grow the team by teaching the community.
Neonatal Kitten Specialist, Patti, hosted six classes, reaching more than 50 community members interested in caring for neonatal kittens and more classes are already planned.
“We had the opportunity to engage with our community and share essential knowledge about caring for neonatal kittens. By spreading information and planting seeds of awareness, we hope to inspire many others to join us in supporting these vulnerable lives.” Patti, Neonatal Kitten Specialist
The impact: 143 kittens helped, 85 of them under four weeks old, and 8 newly trained fosters. With classes continuing, there will be even more trained hands to help these little lives in future kitten seasons.
