851 kittens got a new chance at life in Lawrence, Kansas!
Veterinarians play such a crucial role in lifesaving! Having a veterinarian on staff is a great privilege many rescues do not have. Thanks to this grant, our partners at Lawrence Humane Society were able to hire a veterinarian who specializes in neonatal kitten care! Dr. Schneider-Frederick provided critical kitten care education and training to Lawrence Humane staff and fosters, becoming an incredible new component of their program.
