Become a Partner

OKC operates the world’s first grant program dedicated exclusively to neonatal kittens. We partner with organizations nationwide to build brighter, safer futures for the tiniest felines.

Our partner organizations are eligible for funding through our year-round medical grants, annual shelter grants, mentorship opportunities, and support from OKC’s team of kitten experts.

If you are an authorized representative for an organization you believe may be a good fit for partnership, please review the requirements below and click the button to fill out our application.

At this time, we are prioritizing partnerships with organizations in the Pacific, South Atlantic, and West South Central Regions, but we encourage all eligible organizations to apply.

Please note that in order to focus on our current shelter grant cycle, partner application reviews are currently paused and will continue in January 2027. You are welcome to submit your application now, and we will follow up once the review process has resumed.

We partner with:

  • Municipal shelters, private shelters, foster-based rescues, and nonprofit organizations
  • Fiscally responsible organizations in good standing with the IRS
  • Organizations that have a documented history of serving orphan kittens under 8 weeks of age (OKC does not fund programs for kittens born in care to pregnant moms)
  • Working to improve capacity, quality of care, or increase live outcomes for kittens under 8 weeks of age
  • Open to improving and implementing best practices as outlined in the current ASV Guidelines for Standards of Care in Animal Shelters
  • Actively engaged and responsive to OKC communication
  • Able to provide accurate data for 0-8 week old kittens including intake, born in care, euthanasia, and died in care metrics for their organization when requested
  • Able to provide high-quality photos and videos for grant reporting

We do NOT partner with:

  • Organizations outside of the US
  • Organizations not in good standing with the IRS
  • Individual rescuers
  • Startup organizations and 501c3 that has been operating for less than 2 years
  • Organizations that do not serve kittens under 8 weeks of age
  • Organizations that annually intake less than 40 orphaned kittens under 8 weeks of age
  • Organizations with an annual revenue of less than $25,000
  • Organizations without a website and at least one active social media account
