Swoop

Swoop came in battling a stubborn upper respiratory infection with a ruptured left eye that needed to be removed as soon as possible. To make matters worse, he hadn’t pooped in five days. Treatment began immediately on both fronts, with antibiotics, eye ointment, pain medication, fluids, fiber, stool softeners, and enemas carefully balanced to keep him comfortable. Within 24 hours his constipation was relieved, and within a few days he was going on his own. Once stable and strong enough, Swoop underwent a successful enucleation and neuter surgery and made a full recovery.
