Portia’s troubles began during weaning, when severe constipation turned into an emergency. X-rays revealed major impaction requiring deobstipation and specialty care. Even after ruling out structural issues, she continued to experience painful flare-ups that demanded close, precise management from her devoted foster. Through it all, Portia kept fighting. She is now thriving and officially adopted into a home fully committed to her ongoing care.
