Pickles got too curious one day and knocked over a vase of Oriental lilies, which are extremely toxic to cats. Her foster found pollen on her coat and, unsure whether she’d ingested any part of the plant, rushed her to the emergency vet.
Pickles received careful monitoring, IV fluids, and blood tests for toxins. Miraculously, she had no toxic levels in her blood and made a full recovery.
