Norbit and Nya were rescued at just two weeks old, cold, soaking wet, and underweight. As they grew they were diagnosed with microphthalmia, a congenital condition where the eyes are underdeveloped and nonfunctional. Both underwent bilateral enucleation, and since they already had little to no vision, they adapted beautifully. Norbit and Nya have both been adopted and navigate the world with confidence and curiosity.
