Monticello

Monty was accidentally stepped on while still under a pound, leaving her abdomen severely swollen and her organs shifted out of place. She was rushed to the emergency clinic where she was diagnosed with a severe abdominal hernia requiring immediate surgery. Everything was successfully tucked back where it belonged, and Monty went to recover in a foster home where she made it very clear she was not a fan of cage rest. She bounced back quickly, eating, drinking, and thriving. The only reminder of her rough start is a patch of missing fur on her belly, already growing back.
