Miss Puff overcame an upper respiratory infection as a young kitten before her veterinarian discovered she had a congenital condition: a thoracic wall hernia. Some of her abdominal organs moved in and out of her chest and body wall causing breathing issues. An exploratory surgery identified the issue as a sternal cleft, a rare condition with a good post-surgical prognosis.
Miss Puff underwent corrective surgery and made a full recovery before being adopted!
