Megatron

Megatron arrived at just one week old with his three littermates. As he began weaning, it became clear something was wrong. He couldn’t pass solid food into his stomach, and diagnostics revealed a persistent right aortic arch (PRAA), a condition where a compressed esophagus caused food to regurgitate back up, leading to malnutrition. He required months of specialized care including upright feedings of watered-down wet food before he was big enough for heart surgery. The operation was a success, and Megatron recovered beautifully. His foster family, who had cared for him through every step of his journey, couldn’t say goodbye. Megatron found his forever home with them.
