Marigold arrived in rough shape. Beyond being dehydrated, emaciated, and flea-ridden, the skin on her lower jaw had been degloved, leaving her gums and bone exposed. Through it all, she never stopped purring and snuggling and doing her best to eat.
Her surgical team worked carefully to reattach the delicate skin to her gums and ensure the tissue was strong enough to hold. Days later, a few sutures came loose and Marigold needed a second surgery to fully close the wound. She came through beautifully. Now fully healed, she’s showing off her adorable crooked smile and has found her forever home.
