Mango was found as a stray at around eight weeks old, holding his right rear leg up and refusing to put any weight on it. X-rays confirmed a fractured femur requiring surgery as soon as possible. An orthopedic surgeon repaired his leg, and a devoted foster family took him through weeks of rehabilitation, practicing daily physical therapy exercises while keeping his activity restricted so he could fully heal. Follow-up X-rays confirmed what everyone was hoping for: Mango was declared fully healed. His foster family loved him so much they made it official, and Mango became a full-fledged member of their home.
