Larz was just five weeks old when he was found seeking shelter in a flowerpot, suffering from a swollen leg and an infected wound on his right front paw. X-rays revealed a complex fracture that would require intensive treatment and rehabilitation.
Larz first received medication to stop the infection and keep him comfortable. Once he was bigger and strong enough, he underwent surgery to amputate his right front leg, which was a great success.
With time and care, Larz made a complete recovery and was adopted.
