Indie was found cold and alone, fighting a serious respiratory infection. He was rushed to an emergency clinic where he received IV fluids and antibiotics, but bloodwork revealed he was anemic and would lose one of his eyes. He received the critical care and surgery he needed to recover.
But Indie’s story is bigger than one kitten. While he healed, his rescuers returned to the site where he was found and sterilized the entire colony to stop the cycle. Five more kittens were discovered there, all battling eye infections, and all received treatment.
