Happy was a healthy, thriving six-week-old when he suddenly became unresponsive. His foster family rushed him to the emergency vet, where his fever had soared to a life-threatening 107°F. Testing revealed toxoplasmosis, a dangerous parasitic disease. After 24 hours of intensive care he returned to his foster home, a little wobbly with a slight head tilt, but fighting back. With treatment, Happy was back on his paws in no time and is now healthy and settled into his forever home.
