Gin

At just six weeks old, Gin survived a terrifying accident when a car engine started while she was sheltering inside for warmth. She was found by a neighbor the next day. X-rays revealed a completely fractured tibia, a broken tail requiring amputation, and a partially severed ear. Too small for anesthesia, she received antibiotics, pain medication, splinting, and gentle supportive care until she was big enough for surgery.
