Danny Glover was found at just four weeks old at a refinery plant, badly injured after getting caught in a machine. One leg was crushed beyond repair and had to be amputated immediately. The other had several breaks and a degloving injury. Danny wasn’t ready to give up. He underwent two additional surgeries and received pain medication, antibiotics, hydrotherapy, and laser treatments as he healed and learned to navigate life as a tripod.
Two weeks after surgery, Danny was placed in a foster home with a fellow tripod who taught him how to play, snuggle, and thrive. The two were inseparable. Just a month after surgery, Danny was cleared for adoption and is now living his best life with a loving forever family.
