Captain Morgan was just five weeks old when a car accidentally backed over him in a residential garage injuring his leg. Too young for immediate surgery, he spent several weeks in a dedicated foster home receiving wound care, pain management, and antibiotics while he grew stronger. By ten weeks old he underwent surgery to amputate his leg and he healed beautifully. His sweet and affectionate personality never wavered through any of it. Once medically cleared, Captain Morgan found his forever home and is living the good life.
