Binx arrived at just two weeks old and was quickly diagnosed with eyelid agenesis, a congenital condition causing his upper eyelids to be missing or malformed. His veterinary team determined that removing both eyes would give him the happiest and healthiest life. He spent several weeks in a loving foster home growing strong enough for surgery, and in that time made it very clear he was exactly where he belonged. After his surgery, his foster family made it official and adopted him.
