Amaya

Amaya was found dragging herself along a road, unable to use her back leg. X-rays revealed a fractured femur and severe pelvic damage consistent with being hit by a car. She underwent life-saving surgery, including a femoral head ostectomy and stabilization of her fractured leg with pins and a plate. Her recovery was full of rest, gentle play, and plenty of treats. Amaya made a full recovery.
