When a neonate kitten needs help, hours matter. Before this project, getting a tiny kitten into care meant arranging transport to foster homes up to 80 miles away. Now a dedicated space is ready the moment the call comes in.
The new headquarters has two incubators, a sink big enough to wash supplies and bathe kittens, organized storage with everything on hand, and an on-site washer and dryer. That means less time at the laundromat and more time with the kittens.
So far, 185 kittens have been helped, 58 of them under four weeks old, with 8 foster families supported. With a setup built to last for years, there will be much more lifesaving into the future.
