Apricot was rescued with a severe upper respiratory infection that had significantly damaged both of her eyes. Weak and in pain, she was too fragile for immediate surgery, so her veterinary team focused on managing her infection while she grew strong enough for the next step.
Once stable, she underwent surgery to remove her ruptured eye and received ongoing ophthalmic care to protect the vision in her remaining eye. Her recovery was slow, but with treatment, proper nutrition, and time, she steadily gained strength.
Now named Odessa, she is thriving in her forever home alongside her feline siblings.
