Buttercup was found in rural Louisiana with a severe degloving injury to her tail, a serious upper respiratory infection, and a wound that had become infested with fly larvae. Her wound was cleaned and she was stabilized, then given time to heal and gain strength before surgery. Once ready, she underwent a tail amputation and never looked back. Buttercup is now pain-free and thriving.
