Lynchburg Humane Society cares for over 1,900 kittens every year through its nationally recognized foster program. With more than 400 dedicated foster families, their community steps up again and again—often taking in a new litter the moment another graduates.
But caring for that many growing kittens comes with significant costs. Every foster home needs a steady supply of essentials: high-quality kitten food, heating pads, bottles, blankets, toys, and so much more.
This grant funded a fully stocked foster market, a one-stop shop where caretakers can access the supplies they need at any time. This resource not only eases the financial burden on fosters but ensures that every kitten receives consistent, high-quality care.
