A remodel turned a shelter’s kitten program into a true nursery. It now has expanded storage, functional kennels and an incubator for kittens awaiting foster placement, a dedicated foster training area, and a space for medical check-ups.
With the new space, the team could train multiple fosters at once, give kittens a safe and comfortable place to land, and stay focused on what matters most: saving lives.
The impact: 277 kittens cared for and a 94.2% save rate. With this nursery and upgraded equipment, the tiniest kittens have an even brighter future for years to come.
