Suki was found by a community cat feeder unable to put weight on her front leg. A veterinary exam revealed her paw had been badly injured and healed in an abnormal position, leaving her in pain with severely limited mobility. To give her the best quality of life, her leg needed to be amputated.
Before surgery, Suki battled ringworm while working toward her goal weight. Just as she was almost ready, her condition suddenly worsened, requiring emergency surgery to remove the rest of her injured leg.
Today, Suki is a happy, playful tripod who doesn’t let anything slow her down. Her foster family fell in love with her and made her adoption official.
